Forewing length: 7.0-7.5 mm (2).
Identification
"One of the few externally distinct species of Chionodes: the forewings are nearly shining white with black/dark-gray marks extending posteriorly from the costa just beyond base, at 1/3 length, at 2/3 length, and on the outer margin" (1).
Range
"Occurs in the Klamath Mountains in southwestern Oregon south to Sonoma County, California" (1).
Season
Records from June and July (1).
Food
Larvae feed on Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) (1).
