"One of the few externally distinct species of Chionodes: the forewings are nearly shining white with black/dark-gray marks extending posteriorly from the costa just beyond base, at 1/3 length, at 2/3 length, and on the outer margin" (1).
"Occurs in the Klamath Mountains in southwestern Oregon south to Sonoma County, California" (1).
