Yes, all images are reviewed multiple times
but things still get past us, so it is best to place it only as deep in the taxonomy as you are comfortable. You can post to genus or family or whatever you are certain of.

If you know what you took a picture of,
you can just post it there. When you post to ID Request, you are asking for an ID, but it looks like you already know what this is, so no need for a request. Instead go to the species page in the guide and click on add image there. Same process as ID Request but it gets the image in the guide where it belongs. On the other hand, you may be seeking confirmation of an ID that you are unsure of, in which case, Id Request is the perfect place. Just let folks know you are looking for confirmation.
If, on the other hand, you do know what this is, now that it is here, you can practice moving to the guide. Click on Tag under the image and a thumbnail will appear at the upper left of your screen. Then go to the tessellaris species page and click on Images. A move tagged image tab should appear. One more click and this will be in the guide where it belongs. Try it - you'll like it! Enjoy!

I'm still rather insecure abo
I'm still rather insecure about my ability to id the beasties. If I post something direct to the species page, does someone review it for accuracy?
