Giant Sphinx Moth? -
Hyalophora cecropia
Bexar County, Texas, USA
Size: 7 - 8" wide
I found a cocoon in a dead tree in the fall. It was about 4" long, I brought it home placed it on a house plant. Some later time I found this beauty sitting on the plant near the opened cocoon...
