Unicorn Clubtail - Arigomphus villosipes - female

Unicorn Clubtail - Arigomphus villosipes - Female
Milgrove, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
June 9, 2007
Went oding with a co-worker this afternoon and the most exciting find of the day was this female Clubtail. I'm not good with the females but using the guide and some genitalia plates I have I think this could be a Lilypad Clubtail. I know its not an Ashy, Lancet or Dusky, shes just not coloured right and the genitalia is closest to a Lancet but still not quite a match. Anyone good with the females?

She was ovipositing directly into the water at the edge of a shallow pond with marshy edge. The immediate area was low sedges and horsetails, the water was clear of most vegetation, occasional sedges near shore and a sandy/silty substrate. No notable water movement.

This shot was taken as we were releasing her and she had not yet flown off, shes still letting her wings relax.

Arigomphus villosipes - Unicorn Clubtail
I forawrded these to a oding friend and he thinks it is a female Arigomphus villosipes - Unicorn Clubtail. I'm thinking this is a very likely ID and will move this to the species page if no one disagrees.
Anyone else agree, disagree?
