Yellow-spotted bug on Mallow buds - Niesthrea louisianica
Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA
November 11, 2015
Size: 1/2 cm long for largest
Indian/Palmer's Mallow plant. They were on a lot of the buds, some of the seedheads, and inside a flower or two. I never noticed any on the leaves. No ants, none with wings.
