Found on a Kansas Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) that looked to be the only plant blooming for miles around on this drought-stricken native grassland. It was sharing a flower head with
http://bugguide.net/node/view/1170053, but I cropped them into separate images for upload. Feel free to frass if hopeless; just thought this might not be a very well represented site, at least at this season.
