Sphaeroderus stenostomus lecontei? - Sphaeroderus stenostomus - Oakridge National Lab., Anderson County, Tennessee, USA July 21, 2015 Size: 13mm
I believe this specimen to be Sphaeroderus stenostomus lecontei.
I was unsure how to exactly go about counting the more lateral stria, and was hoping with the aid of these photos someone can confirm this applies as "more than 11".
I will attach several photos of the elytra.
This specimen was caught by NEON using a pitfall trap containing a 1:1 ratio of water and propylene glycol.
