Idaea Species - Idaea kendallaria - male

Idaea Species - Idaea kendallaria - Male
Campwood, Edwards County, Texas, USA
May 29, 2013
I am wondering if this might be a female Idaea kendallaria.

Moved tentatively
Moved from ID Request. This is a male, by the way.

Well Done
Awesome job on guide page, Kyhl

Until today ...
I had never heard of Idaea kendallaria, nor have been able to find any info. Perhaps this is a notch-winged ... sorry, I couldn't resist :)

Hi Robert,

There is an article on Idaeas by Covell in the latest Journal of the Lepidopterists' Society. Kyhl read it and found one of Carol Wolfe's photos he thought was one and Jim Vargo found possible a male photo among her's too. She asked me for a page to put them on but I asked Khyl to do so and he has accepted the challenge. My copy of the new journal was in yesterday's mail and I found it today. I looked through all of my photographs and thought this might also be one. Time will tell. Kind of fun to have new challenges to look for at my place. I pay very little attention to the dimissarias I see.

Great
You will need to add the new journal to books, so can reference.

Sorry, I don't know how. Still have MUCH to learn!

Kyhl can add
When he creates guide page
