Leafhopper - Orientus ishidae
Pasadena, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA

Size: ~3.5mm
Quite elaborately marked hopper feeding on Sanguisorba obtusa Spirea sp.. I went through the images in the guide but didn't find any similar matches. I know the image isn't that great so I will frass after comments. Thanks.

Orientus ishidae
Don't frass this - it shows some of the variation in wing color associated with this species. The head markings are distinctive.

Thank you. I looked hard at Claude Pilon's specimen but wasn't really sure.
