Ants and Aphids - Tapinoma sessile

Ants and Aphids - Tapinoma sessile
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
June 10, 2007
Size: 4mm
Found tending Aphids on Himalayan Blackberry, Rubus armeniacus. If this photo is not good enough for ID, I will happily frass.
Thanks.

Moved
Moved from Ants.

Dolichoderinae: Tapinoma
Probably not clear enough to save from frassing, but you'll still probably want to know it's Tapinoma sessile.

A useful reference for your area is this site on ants of Evergreen College campus: http://academic.evergreen.edu/projects/ants/TESCBiota/commonants.html
