I think it looks rather different
. . . from Y.bidentata. Especially here the pronotum has a distinct hair pattern (similar to the Mordellid posted by J&J.Balaban), in Y.bid. it has not.

good argument
your second one is somewhat intermediate between this one and the Y.bidentata already in the guide before. Think its safe to move, though . . .

Wow! It looks so different
Buprestids always remind us of turtles with their heads pulled in. Any chance it could be something more like

This is a mordellid, not a buprestid. Neat species.

This looks like the Yakuhananomia bidentata in the guide.
