Sapromyza brachysoma - female

Sapromyza brachysoma - Female
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
December 15, 2015
Size: Maybe around 4.5 mm?
Not sure where to look, but it does have a striped eye. Heleomyzidae?
Came to the light at night
Maybe a female, but I'm not sure enough to check the box
I can put it under a scope if that would help.

Edit: Sapromyza brachysoma ???

Moved
Moved from Flies.

Gender
Is there anything in the ventral shot that tells gender? I also have a lateral shot of that area with something extending if that helps.

Thanks!

Probably female
I think this is what the male looks like:

Thanks
then maybe this is also female

and maybe this is one with the internals contracted (mine only showed it extended in 2 photots)
