C. sycophanta has the elytra more finely striated, and pronotal margin not of different colour. Agree on wilcoxi.

Thanks for the update. Because of work demands, I still haven't been able to pull out my Carabids and look at these again more closely. I don't recall off the top of my head how I arrived at C. sycophanta but perhaps you could take a look at the other specimen that I posted as C. wilcoxi and make sure that is correct?

Looks more like Calosoma wilcoxi.
Based on color scheme and size looks more like Calosoma wilcoxi.
