Please excuse the quality of this flight shot; I'm hoping the insect is unusual enough that it can be identified despite the crappy picture. I want to say it's a conopid of some sort, but it doesn't seem to match up with any of the ones pictured.

Nice catch! I wouldn't have suspected a bombyliid though now that I look at it the antennae/mouthparts should have been a giveaway.

I believe it is as Ammophila (Sphecidae) mimic.
