I don't see either of those points of forewing venation being distinctive in van Achterberg's revision or Sharkey, Wharton, and van Achterberg's overview (and in fact see better alignment with the figures of the other genera in both papers). There are also deviations, such as the angle of vein r and the height of vein r-m. (RS+M)b is also slightly shorter than this in their figures for Hymenochaonia. It also seems that the Hymenochaonia in range also have distinctly yellow pterostigmas rather than bicolored as here.

Keying males really requires a clear view of the petiole, at a minimum. Can we really exclude the possibility of a laterope being present and deep? I really don't see a way to properly run this photo through either of their keys.

Hymenochaonia Dalla Torre
Genus level ID based on long fore wing r-vein and long, partly sclerotized RS+M(b) vein.
