Garland, Dallas County, Texas, USA
June 27, 2015
This bee was at my home in Garland on my tropical milkweed. I cropped it to "just the bug" I'm petty sure it is Apis mellifera but I noticed you didn't have any for Texas in June so thought I'd offer it.

Apis Melifera
As a beekeeper for many years, I can confirm that it is Apis melifera, but I will let someone else make the move.
