Hodges #6160 - Ragweed Plume Moth - Adaina ambrosiae

Hodges #6160 - Ragweed Plume Moth - Adaina ambrosiae
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
December 21, 2015
Size: Wingspan ≈17mm
At outdoor light. I think I have figured out how to distinguish 6160 Adaina ambrosiae from 6154 Pselnophorus belfragei by wing pattern and abdomen markings, and I am quite certain this is the former. I would appreciate confirmation - it would be the first image for Florida (I have others in my files).

Moved from Plume Moths. ID confirmed by Debbie Matthews Lott who wrote "(a)ong with the wing markings I look for a dark patch on each side of one of the mid abdominal segments."
