Nacoleia charesalis ? - Nacoleia charesalis - Female

Size: Forewing ≈13mm
At outdoor light. I think that this is a rather worn Nacoleia charesalis of which I have encountered five recently. The best match is with Gary McClellan's photo of a worn specimen here. I measured a forewing length of about 13mm, longer than the maximal forewing length of 11.5mm listed by Hayden and Troubridge (see reference on Info page). On December 14, 2015, I have photographed a similarly large individual with a wingspan of 26-27mm. By appearance of antennae and abdomen, that one, and the present one, presumably are females. I would appreciate confirmation of the present moth's ID.

Nacoleia charesalis
I sent photos of this moth and of my "longwinged" Nacoleia charesalis (see comment above) to James Hayden and he writes that "they look like females of N. charesalis," and he agrees that there is variability of size.
