Size: 7/8"

Large Black Bee feeding on sky vine (Thunbergia grandiflora).Blue-green iridescence on black body. Black legs. Not carrying pollen. Pale hairs on and under last abdominal segments. Pale hairs lining bottom of thorax. Is this a male or a female?

The males look very different: (dark abdominal hair, big bright eyes, white hairs on the legs)
