Could it be? Sadly, I don't have a good photo of the arista. Based on John Carr's comment on http://bugguide.net/node/view/409477#2023977 -- The keys say Genea aurea but it differs slightly from the description, which calls for 3 humeral bristles (not 2), a pale arista (not black), and some black marks on the abdomen.

In addition to subtle characters, Genea are more yellow than this fly. "Aurea" means golden. If it's Leskiini it might be Solieria. Do you have a shot from the side, even if the arista isn't clear?

No other shots. He was off and running. I was surprised he sat still long enough for this one. I don't think I've collected one since this photo either. I'm working on ID'g my 2015 collecting efforts now.
