Ywa, rhw inreoduced Rhinotus purpureus, but this is not a chordeumatidan, it's a representative of the order Polyzoniida, family Siphonotidae.

This is Rhinotus purpureus, an introduced Siphonotidae that can be found in Florida and Louisiana. It's a species not yet in the guide, so I'll create a page. Thanks for posting our first photo record!
