Size: 1.75 mm
This tiny, almost black ant was caught with a sweep net in grasses and other vegetation growing in a scrub adjacent to a pond. It has a two-segmented waist and does not appear to have spines. Both the petiole and post petiole are rounded knobs. It has erect white hairs on its head, thorax, gaster and legs.
