Did you happen to keep specimens? I'm researching Okanagana and this might be something much rarer.

Hi again, unfortunately I didn’t. It is public land, but due to mining waste, closed to the public. If you need details however, I could reach out to the managers.

Interesting and rather scary.
Interesting and rather scary. It's not necessary to reach out, it is probably bella. I'll take another look when I get some of my literature in.

Okanagana specimens?
If I find other specimens in the west, do you want them? What’s the best way to preserve and send?

The best way is 95% alcohol in a vial of some sort. I'm very interested in the Okanagana in that area as it contains some very uncommon taxa that are hard to find. It's under-collected and difficult for me or my colleagues to get there (I'm in Florida, he's in Pasadena). I'm happy to pay for any shipping costs. Thank you very much! Any recordings you can make are also very helpful; bioacoustics is part of our research.

Three taxa are almost restricted to Utah: schaefferi, sugdeni, and tanneri.
