Grasshopper at Hallowell Park - Stethophyma gracilis - female

Grasshopper at Hallowell Park - Stethophyma gracilis - Female
Rocky Mountain National Park, Larimer County, Colorado, USA
August 27, 2005
This grasshopper, seen in Hallowell Park, RMNP at about 8180' elevation is a puzzler for me. It seems to be like a M. bivitattus in reverse, with darker stripes enclosing the pale dorsal triangle and converging, rather that having white stripes enclosing a dark dorsal triangle. Appendages are female. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks so much for identifying this grasshopper. It has puzzled me for a long time. Your help is much appreciated.

Moved for expert attention
Looks similar to some images in Stethophyma, but I don't know that group well enough to say for sure. David will know

Thanks
Yes, some do look like Stethophyma, a genus new to me. Thanks for moving and your suggestion.
