Relations are all beautiful. This must be one. I think they bug they hell out of Bob in that they are tough to categorize to species sometimes.

I thought
that
Synanthedon acerni
was the only one with the reddish tail fan. But then again my eyes may have decieved me.

Steve - you are correct; this is a lovely specimen of a female Synanthedon acerni. Synanthedon corni and acerrubri also have red tails.
