Isabella Tiger Moth (Pyrrharctia isabella) - Pyrrharctia isabella

Isabella Tiger Moth (Pyrrharctia isabella) - Pyrrharctia isabella
Buxton, Traill County, North Dakota, USA
July 18, 2015
This specimen may be an example of Isabella Tiger Moth (Pyrrharctia isabella) 8129 caterpillars I reared. I released all but 5 in the 4 instar and kept 5 to overwinter. As of January 27, 2015 the larva is doing ok and I am housing them in my garage. I will probably purchase some greens from the grocery store early spring so they don't starve before the landscape starts to green up.
