this is turning out to be more perplexing than I thought. The hind tibiae look like 'Aphodius' but look at the length of that metatibial spur! Scutellum looks long too but hard to say from the dorsal pic.

Aphodiinae of sorts
cannot separate 'Aphodius' from Ataenius from this angle; some features suggest one, others suggest the other. If I had to pick, I'd probably pick Aphodius (s. lat.)

I also doubt it is 10 mm. If you are not measuring with a calibrated instrument, you shouldn't include a size. Estimations can be misleading.
