This isn't another Oxidus gracilis, is it? - Tidesmus episcopus

This isn't another Oxidus gracilis, is it? - Tidesmus episcopus
Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County, California, USA
February 1, 2016
Size: 12-14mm
same size as Oxidus gracilis more-or-less, but its all prickly and weird...

May be one of the weird Scytonotus, if so it would probably be new for guide.

Moved tentatively

Scytonotus in Calif. is along
Scytonotus in Calif. is along the coast from Marin Co. northward, north of SF Bay. I think what this is is Tidesmus episcopus, or whatever the species is in the LA area, order Polydesmida: family Macrosternodesmidae. This is my best guess without actually seeing the specimen and without a scale line or a coin of somesort in the photo to give a good idea of its overall size.

I guess I overcompensated
I went out and measured today, and it could not be more than 12-14mm. I don't know the size of Tidesmus episcopus, so I don't know if this fits the size range for that taxon

Thanks!
I can check for more later. I will also measure the width of the gaps in the wooden board and match it to the photo.

Not Oxidus
Rest assured, it is not another Oxidus gracilis!

As to its actual ID, I am not sure, but Scytonotus seems on the right path.

Wait for Dr. Shelley or Derek maybe.
