Lone Star BB Beetle - Caenocara

Lone Star BB Beetle - Caenocara
Carmine, Fayette County, Texas, USA
May 27, 2015
Size: about 1.3 mm
This looks more like a fuzzy BB than like an insect. Legs and antennae very tightly compressed. Uniform shiny brown throughout, dorsum pubescent. Dorsal photo did not work. I could not count tarsal or antennal segments without destroying the specimen. Taken sweeping tall grasses in weedy, disturbed area.
