Cockroach freshly molted? - Periplaneta

Cockroach freshly molted? - Periplaneta
Tallahassee, Wakulla County, Florida, USA
June 17, 2007
Size: 3.5mm
Found this guy about 4 hours ago and was a bit surprised to see a white cockroach. After some research here on the site, I know now that it is a freshly molted specimen. It is already starting to turn darker and now appears tan in color. Interesting!

Moved

Male Shelfordella lateralis?
Because of its general body shape (narrow) and pronotum marking which is similar to other S. lateralis from what I remember.

Moved from Cockroaches.
