Dark beetle with orange head

Dark beetle with orange head
Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida, USA
May 30, 2015
Similar to a ladybug in size. Found on a beggar's tick (Bidens sp.)

Any more angles?
Seeing the end of the wings would be useful. I can't tell if there are orange markings at the tip or not. If there are, it is Diomus roseicollis.

Sorry
I took this a while ago and I don't have any more photos.

Any thoughts on the size?
May even be Cryptolaemus, but that is about twice to three times the size of the other two options here.

Moved for expert review to Scymninae...
Possibly Scymnus sp. or Diomus sp.; wish the resolution was better.

Moved from Beetles.
