Red-banded Leafroller Moth - Argyrotaenia velutinana

Red-banded Leafroller Moth - Argyrotaenia velutinana
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
February 23, 2005
Size: .5 inches or less
Just took this one this morning. It was on the car...quite small.

Argyrotaenia velutinana
3597 -- Red-banded Leafroller Moth. Maybe I can get to sleep now. This has been bothering me for a week. Variation between broods, sexes and individuals is substantial. I've got about 25 variants on this page and could probably make if 50 with a little effort.

Thanks!
You know I see a page with 25 variants and I give up. Even the times I try I usually get it wrong anyway!
