My
guess
is one of the Cylindrical Bark Beetles, Subfamily Colydiinae, possibly
Paha laticollis
.
Compare:
In the future, the single most important image of a beetle for identification purposes is a straight on dorsal shot.

Dollywood bark beetle
I'll see what I can do about a more direct dorsal shot, but even without it, it's clear that my specimen lacks the expanded pronotal margins of P laticollis. Thanks!
