Katydid - Stilpnochlora couloniana - female

Katydid - Stilpnochlora couloniana - Female
Lakeland, Florida, USA
January 9, 2013
I'm pretty sure this is Stilpnochlora couloniana. Perhaps this is an easy question, but I am at a loss trying to figure out that white structure. Is it male genitalia? Female eggs?

yes, Stilpnochlora couloniana
White structure is the spermatophore, transferred from the male to the female while mating. See this image of a spermatophore in a similar species
