A question here

My friend Aaron Eckley collected the Luna mother
June 8-9, 2015: eggs laid
June 16-18, 2015: eggs hatched and 13 were sent to me, fed them Walnut, Juglans nigra as per Aaron
July 4, 2015: 1 larva dead, 1 missing and lots of shed head capsules
July 13, 2015: divided into 3 rearing jars and some look near death, I can never tell the difference between near death and pre-pupa
July 20, 2015: they have spun cocoons, 2 died while trying
August 1, 2015: first adult emerged, a male
August 2-4, 2015: 4 more males emerged
February 2016: 4 cocoons (I have had an Imperial Moth or 2 wait till a second season to emerge.

May 24, 2016: (on or before) an adult male emerged
