Phigalia Moth - Phigalia denticulata - male

Phigalia Moth - Phigalia denticulata - Male
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
January 13, 2016
Size: Forewing ≈17mm
At outdoor light: I am not sure about this one - its overall appearance and the PM line bulge touching the median line suggests to me Phigalia denticulata, but the absence of a third (from the costa) PM line tooth should make it Phigalia stigataria according to its Info page.

Sorry, Peter. I messed up moving.
This is what a Small Phigalia looks like (I saw a few nights ago), with gap between two pairs of “teeth”

So be it, then
The devil is in the details, isn't it (he). I had seen your Small Phigalia and when I had referred to "overall appearance" I compared the looks of my moth to that of yours and others among the "Smalls."

Great
Robert, thank you for settling this one for me - I tended to focus more on the PM line bulge-median line positions than on the teeth of the PM line wondering how well they might be preserved. This one changed my perception after I looked at your neat juxtaposition of images on the strigataria Info page
