Empoasca Walsh 1862
well over 400 described spp. in 2 subgenera in our area, 11 subgenera worldwide(1); real species number uncertain, the group is in dire need of revision, on which D.A. Dmitriev is currently working (Dr Dmitriev's pers.comm. to =v= 5.viii.2011)
