Geshna cannalis - Lesser Cann
Geshna cannalis - Lesser Canna Leafroller Moth would be my suggestion due to the black dots bordering the white discal spots and two quivering transverse brown lines on the FW:

According to the BG Info page it is a pest on ornamental Canna spp. Any of these plants present nearby?

Yes I have several Canna plants in my yard. I also have a large butterfly
garden with many native plants and grasses. Thanks for your help.
