Moth - Pug? - Eupithecia

Moth - Pug? - Eupithecia
Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
February 27, 2016
This moth was seen in flight and then sitting on the ground early in the morning on Feb 27 at Goldstream Park near Victoria BC. I thought it was a Pug because of its shape but the subtle patterns on the wing are not familiar to me.

Yes, looks like a Eupithecia
but a lot of them are very similar and hard to get to species!
