Camel Cricket on bark - Ceuthophilus utahensis - female

Camel Cricket on bark - Ceuthophilus utahensis - Female
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
May 22, 2013
This camel cricket in on loose bark. Found in the CO foothills at about 6400' elevation. I am not positive of date. Appendages seem male. We have found two or three camel crickets over the years which were mounted. If you need a specific detail such as tarsi, I may be able to photograph and send. Any help is much appreciated.

FYI, it's female...
She has an ovipostitor in between her cerci, that's what she uses to lay her eggs. Males of course lack an ovipositor. :)

Female Camel cricket
Thanks so much for sexing this individual. I did not recognize the central appendage as an ovipositor.

appears to be an immature C. utahensis
Moved from Camel Crickets.
