Yucca moth - Tegeticula species?

Yucca moth - Tegeticula species?
Boulder, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
June 14, 2007
Size: 10-15 mm
This moth was inside the flower of a yucca - Yucca glauca. I'm hoping it is a pollinating yucca moth and not some look-alike>

Ann -- I'm hoping you might allow me to use your great yucca moth photo for an educational podcast the Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium produces? A future podcast is going to focus on yucca moths. Click here for an example: https://www.mtpr.org/programs/bug-bytes. You can reply to me at glenn@missoulabutterflyhouse.org
