Convergent Lady Beetle Larva devouring a pea aphid. They were caught using a sweep net in a weedy alfalfa field.

The larvae is certainly Hippodamia
and it would surprise me if it wasn't convergens given the appearance.

Thank you James!
Convergent Lady Beetle adults were very abundant and the only lady beetle species that I was able to find. However, I suspect this entry will be put into the unidentified pile within Coccinellidae, but I hope to be proven wrong in my assumption.

You can take my word this is Hippodamia
so this should not go to the unidentified pile. Hippodamia sinuata has the most similar larva, but it doesn't quite match, and since you associated it with many adults it is "safe" for convergens.
You can move this yourself if you trust me!

It's done!
Of course I trust your judgement because that's exactly what I thought before posting these images.
I was under the impression that most H. convergens larvae ended up in the "unidentified" section, but now I see that there are a few larvae identified as this species including mine!
