Explanation of Names
Peoria gematella (Hulst, 1887) is restored as the valid name. Originally described as "gemmatilla" the spelling was changed to "gematella" on the corrections page of the same work. This species was misspelled as "gemmatella" in the Hodges 1983 Checklist and McDunnough (1939).
