Size

Wingspan: ~23 mm (1).

Identification

"Fawn-color, with blackish speckles. Palpi pale testaceous beneath. Antennae brown. Thorax in front, pectus and legs mostly whitish. Forewings indistinctly mottled with brown, and with three slender black bands; the first band more regular than the second and third, which are double; the second zigzag; the third with fewer angles; a row of black lunules along the exterior border, and a black subapical spot. Hind wings brown, with a whitish fringe, paler and with brown marks beneath." --Walker, 1855 (see print references below).

Range

Found from Central America to Paraguay and Brazil, the Antilles (2), and south Florida (1).
