Two years ago I left an old beehive in a mixed forest hoping to capture a swarm from a bee tree but they weren't interested. I forgot about the hive until lately and decided to see what moved into it? Besides a nest of tiny thatcher ants and beetles there are at least three different species of spiders. This spider was found in a dry space on the underside of the beehive stand, below the hive body. Two spiders, I think male and female, seem to be protecting a nest in the corner. Your ID is very much appreciated!
