Size: ~12mm body
Agree with Stuart Marcus at http://bugguide.net/node/view/1160149/bgimage; although not shown on MPG outside of FL, SE Texas has thriving populations of Alligatorweed, Alternanthera philoxeroides.

This image appears to match other photos of this taxon.
