Host plant?
These look to me to be the nymphs of a largid (family Largidae), genus Largus. I recall finding vast numbers on a yucca once, but I don't think they are terribly host-specific....

Yes, I first found a cluster of these under an adirondack chair. Later I found them on a White Fir in a big cluster. Do they eat like aphids?
