Size: maybe 6 mm
Plucked this longhorn with a bad haircut off the observation deck wall atop the Mt. Washington weather observatory. It was a nice day and insects from all around had come to the summit for a ritual rendezvous orgy.

Pogonocherus penicillatus
The angled white basal band and longitudinally-arranged tufts of black setae are distinctive.
