Size: ~ 4 mm
Specimen held at WWUC. Believe this is a small Carabid, possibly in the Subfamily Trechinae? Confirmation/correction, and further placement would be appreciated.

Agonoleptus thoracicus new to ME.
Thank you Thrasher for alerting us to this new record which is added to the post-2012 caraboid registry. Besides the significantly shortened metasternum which you already alluded to at the registry site, this species should have well impressed m/s atop pronotum & elytra compared to otherwise similar A. conjunctus (Bousquet & Messer, 2010). If not, please let me know. This species was absent from the Maine checklist by Dearborn et al (2014).
