Collembola - Ptenothrix maculosa

Collembola - Ptenothrix maculosa
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
March 20, 2016
Tiny little globular springtail (possibly genus Dicyrtomina) found under rocks close to shoreline on rocky point near Victoria Golf Course. I don't know if there's enough detail to identify it, but figured it might be doable.

Thank you Frans!

Ptenothrix maculosa
Very confusing species. Extremely variable. And with a Dicyrtoma look...

Cute!
The little globular Springtails are always so cute.

You must have a pretty nice camera, patience, and a steady hand to get this shot.

Thank you for sharing, another can probably narrow down further.
